"Wild adult Varanus varius basking atop leaf litter in a forested area outside Sydney, New South Wales, Australia at 1500 h. B) Surface
temperature of the basking site (56°C [132.8°F]; air temperature 26°C [78.8°F]) was recorded immediately after the lizard fled the area"
"Your ackie monitor’s temperature gradient should look like this:
Basking surface temperature: 158-172°F / 70-78°C
Warm side air temperature: 84-100°F / 29-38°C
Cool side temperature: 75-82°F / 24-28°C"
Température de surface au basking spot à 70-78°C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAIS WHAT?
